If you want to catch a flavor of who we are at Community Fellowship of Christians, it's all in the name:

Community

We exist to serve our local community (see Our History). As our mission statement puts it, we endeavor to "reach our community, our nation and our world for Christ".  Park and Teller counties are our "Jerusalem" (Acts 1:8). We also desire to spread the gospel message in "Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" with robust mission support.

Check out the Calendar and Events sections to discover how you can connect with worship and other community service opportunities!

Fellowship

We are an interdenominational, Bible-based church family, welcoming those new to the Christian faith as well as those of different rich Christian traditions. We want to create a caring and growing fellowship where all are welcome (from the Mission Statement).

On Sunday mornings, we are intentionally traditional in our worship style and order of service. Our desire is to worship our great God through our music, expressions of praise, through prayer, and through the preaching of the eternal truths of God's Word (Psalm 150, Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:24-25).

We are congregational in structure. The church board is elected in an annual election. The church family meets quarterly in business session to consider, discuss, and seek God's will in appropriate actions for community and congregational needs.

By the way, if, in your tradition fellowship equals food, you'll fit right in at CFC!  We love to eat!

Christians

Ultimately, our Head is the Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:18). Our beliefs are reflected in the Apostles Creed, the essentials of orthodox Christianity, and the imperative to declare God's glory and salvation to a fallen world (Matthew 28:18-20). We are seeking to be blended into one cohesive family, energized by the Holy Spirit to reach others and ourselves with the gospel message of salvation and completeness in Christ (Colossians 2:9-10).
